She’s like a Butterfly.

This collection has been inspired by my fascination of butterflies and a pact that I made on a beach with my big sis. The story goes…

In 2018 my sister and I made a decision. We sat on a beach together and talked about her ‘bucket list’ of things to do before she turned 40. In that list was for her to get a tattoo. Me being the lil sis (by just 23months) I decided that she should go for it - and I would one with her! We decided to have our tattoos match, and after talking over our life journeys so far, we knew that the butterfly would be the most symbolic to us. Embracing change, being delicate, having strength, emerging and involving.

And so a few years on, I decided to create a trio of very meaningful jewellery pieces to represent our bond and also what a butterfly cab symbolism. I wanted to show how women can be their own version of a butterfly.

These handmade earrings feature a dainty 3d stencil-style butterfly as the main statement (measuring approximately 20mm in size at the widest point) hung delicately from sterling silver ear wire hooks. Include rubber backs for security and comfort.
